New legislation will be introduced on 13th December 2014 requiring all catering professionals to supply allergen information on all dishes produced. This will include the content of the following ingredients; Celery, Cereals containing gluten, Crustaceans, Eggs, Fish, Lupin, Milk, Mollusc, Mustard, Nuts, Peanuts, Sesame Seeds, Soya and Sulphur Dioxide. The statement below sets out how Antonia's Kitchen will be implementing the new directive.

Allergen Information Statement

As a Professional Catering Company we will endeavour to cater for all allergen and dietary requirements, at your event, finalising arrangements 7 days prior to your function.

We prepare our food in kitchens with products containing Gluten and Nuts as well as other allergens. We are obliged by law to continuously monitor our ingredients and products for changes in allergen content, as well as following systems of work which ensure the least possible contamination. Any Allergy Data supplied by us is derived from specifications obtained from the suppliers of our products and raw ingredients. We CANNOT guarantee that any product is “100% FREE FROM” any allergen because of the risk of unexpected cross contamination.

Once you have chosen your menu we will then create and issue you with a corresponding “list of allergens” for each course, which you will need to supply to and check with your guests. The list will also be available on the day, of your event, for reference by our front of house team. Whilst using our Professional Kitchen we will ensure that we comply with Food Standard Agency regulations, however, we cannot vouch for Venue kitchens.
